 Zack Thompson of Orinda, Calif., caught a limit weighing 16 pounds, 9 ounces and finished third for the pros with a total weight of 81-5. He earned $8,026.
“It’s been a really fun week. Today I had an opportunity in the last five minutes to catch a really big fish, but I just couldn’t land that big kicker,” he said. “I had one game plan the entire week.
